🎀 This PDF pattern will help you crochet your own bow bag! There are two size options: the Big bow bag can be worn as a tote or messenger/shoulder bag, the Mini bow bag as a handbag or purse. They each have a bow that'll sit perfectly on your shoulder once finished. Choose your favourite one, or combine them and get a discount.
The Big bow bag pattern is best for advanced beginners. The following techniques are used in both patterns (US terminology): half double crochet, slip stitch (to attach panels), half double increase and decrease. For the Big bow bag, you'll be using a triple strand of yarn for most of the pattern. Both patterns include detailed instructions as well as progress pictures. You'll be able to the pattern(s) immediately after purchasing.
Measurements:
✧ Big bow bag (excl. straps): width 36 cm (14,2"), length 24 cm (9,5")
✧ Mini bow bag (excl. straps): width 26 cm (10.3”), length 16 cm (6.3”)

Big bow bag:
✧ 10 ply / aran / worsted yarn: 220 g, approx. 675 m (I used DROPS Air)
✧ 5 mm crochet hook
✧ 8 mm crochet hook
Mini bow bag :
✧ Weight 5 / bulky / chunky yarn: 160 g, approx. 185 m (I used Katia Alaska)
✧ 6 mm crochet hook
Both:
✧ Scissors
✧ Tapestry needle
✧ Optional: stitch markers
