This pattern is fit for beginners! It's pretty simple, using slip stitch, half double crochet (increasing and decreasing), and the tapestry crochet technique. I've added links to tutorials explaining most techniques.
Materials:
To make four olive coasters, you’ll need:
☆ Yarn (cotton): 10 ply / aran / worsted yarn in two colours:
35 g (approx. 52 m) of olive green
5 g (approx. 7 m) of red
☆ A 4.5 mm crochet hook
☆ Scissors
☆ Tapestry needle to weave in the ends
