🍎🐛 This PDF pattern will help you knit your own Always hungry scarf – a midi scarf that's perfect for all seasons; not too big nor too small, yet warm enough. You'll be able to download the pattern immediately after purchasing.

This knitting pattern is best for beginner or advanced beginner knitters. Once you’ve gotten the hang of helix knitting, it becomes quite an easy repetitive process. The pattern contains linked tutorials to guide you along the way and to clarify the required techniques. There's also an explanation on how to add a duplicate stitch face once the scarf is finished.

There are two yarn options for this pattern: yarn option #1 uses helix knitting (shown in photos), where you’ll use multiple colours to create a spiraled one-stripe design. Yarn option #2 uses a multi-coloured dégradé yarn which automatically produces a colour gradient.

Materials:
🍎 Option #1: helix knitting
→ DK weight yarn (e.g. Lang Merino 120) in 5 colours:
20 g (approx. 50 m) red
10 g (approx. 25 m) yellow
45 g (approx. 120 m) light green
45 g (approx. 120 m) dark green
45 g (approx. 120 m) forest green

🍏 Option #2: using Lang Merino dégradé
→ DK weight yarn (e.g. Lang Merino 120) in 5 colours:
20 g (approx. 50 m) red: colour #160
10 g (approx. 25 m) yellow: colour #311
→ 2 or 3 skeins (240-360 m, depending on preferred length) of Lang Merino 120 dégradé

🍌 3.5 mm circular sock needles
🍊 Stitch markers
