🍳 This PDF pattern will help you crochet your own Egg coasters. They work up in no time and work just great as easter decoration or as a gift for your favourite brunch host. The pattern contains a detailed explanation on how to crochet a set of four Egg coasters (US terminology), including step-by-step progress photos.
This pattern is perfect for crochet beginners! It's pretty simple, using only beginner techniques (slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, increasing and decreasing). I've added links to tutorials explaining the necessary techniques.
Materials:
To make four egg coasters, you’ll need:
🥚 Yarn (cotton): 10 ply / aran / worsted weight in three colours:
26 g (approx. 39 m) of white
7 g (approx. 10.5 m) of yellow
2 g (approx. 3 m) of light yellow
Optional: brown/beige scrap yarn for crispy edge
🥚 A 4.5 mm crochet hook
🥚 Scissors
🥚 Tapestry needle to weave in the ends

Note: I used a lower weight yarn and smaller hook, which is why the bag in my photo is smaller than shown in the product photos
