This crochet pattern is for beginners! Construction is fairly simple. The following techniques are used (US terminology): single crochet (increase, decrease), slip stitch, Tunisian simple stitch (you can use your regular crochet hook for this). Additionally, the spiral Star bag requires: half double crochet, double crochet (increase).
There are detailed written instructions and progress pictures to help you along your way. Tutorials and guides are linked to help with all techniques used. Instructions to increase the size of your bag are also included.
Materials:
⭐️ Yarn: 180 gr of bulky / chunky weight yarn OR multiple strands of thinner yarn, e.g. 3 strands of medium / aran / worsted weight yarn
⭐️ An 8 mm crochet hook
⭐️ Scissors
⭐️ Tapestry needle to weave in the ends
⭐️ Optional: stitch markers, fabric for lining

This is my second time making something reading a pattern. The pattern was so easy to follow. I went a little rogue and adapted it into a crossbody pattern instead of a handbag. I love how there's a link for a viideo tutorial for the Tunisian stitch. very helpful.
