🍎🐛 This PDF pattern will help you knit your own Always hungry scarf – a midi scarf that's perfect for all seasons; not too big nor too small, yet warm enough. You'll be able to download the pattern immediately after purchasing.
This knitting pattern is best for beginner or advanced beginner knitters. Once you’ve gotten the hang of helix knitting, it becomes quite an easy repetitive process. The pattern contains linked tutorials to guide you along the way and to clarify the required techniques. There's also an explanation on how to add a duplicate stitch face once the scarf is finished.
There are two yarn options for this pattern: yarn option #1 uses helix knitting (shown in photos), where you’ll use multiple colours to create a spiraled one-stripe design. Yarn option #2 uses a multi-coloured dégradé yarn which automatically produces a colour gradient.
Materials:
🍎 Option #1: helix knitting
→ DK weight yarn (e.g. Lang Merino 120) in 5 colours:
20 g (approx. 50 m) red
10 g (approx. 25 m) yellow
45 g (approx. 120 m) light green
45 g (approx. 120 m) dark green
45 g (approx. 120 m) forest green
🍏 Option #2: using Lang Merino dégradé
→ DK weight yarn (e.g. Lang Merino 120) in 5 colours:
20 g (approx. 50 m) red: colour #160
10 g (approx. 25 m) yellow: colour #311
→ 2 or 3 skeins (240-360 m, depending on preferred length) of Lang Merino 120 dégradé
🍌 3.5 mm circular sock needles

from 925 reviewsReally cute bag! I liked that the pattern gave a bunch of alternatives for the pattern if you wanted them.
This was my first time trying tapestry crochet so I expected to struggle - but the extra instructions and linked tutorial videos were great! :) super happy with the results!
Amazing pattern. So easy to follow and I’ve already made four. When I used three medium weight yarns it was about 3 inches larger than just using chunky weight. LOVE🩷🩷
Great pattern, simple to read with lots of great information!
Really great quality pattern :) easy to follow, thank you
"The details in this pattern are incredible! So unique and creative. Thank you!"
This is my second time making something reading a pattern. The pattern was so easy to follow. I went a little rogue and adapted it into a crossbody pattern instead of a handbag. I love how there's a link for a viideo tutorial for the Tunisian stitch. very helpful.
Easiest crochet bag pattern ever, very clear!
I love purchasing all my patterns from this store! The instructions are so clear and easy to follow
easy to follow instructions, my bag turned out so cute!!
VERY clear and simple to follows, even explains how to manage size increases if you want a bigger bag :)
Clever scarf! No problems with download. Pattern looks to have multiple helpful web connections. Thanks
Elliyah put their whole ass into this pattern, which includes photos, modifications, and links to stitch tutorials. Same for the other patterns I got from Devout Hand.
I'm a relative beginner, and my bag turned out just like the photos. This was my introduction to Tunisian crochet and I'm obsessed! This project has been a big confidence booster.
Note: I used a lower weight yarn and smaller hook, which is why the bag in my photo is smaller than shown in the product photos
great pattern and easy to follow! made this for my friend Olive and they LOVED it!!
Super!! Instructions are very clear and the linked videos are a big help aswell <3
